ALEX HAMILTON
LAST DANCE 2020

The last exhibition I did as city dweller, this expressed the emotional isolation and trapped creativity of city living where movement and authentic artistic energy are sometimes an enormous challenge from which to break free. The feeling of living in a bubble, but looking out at a beautiful world, was increasingly difficult to navigate.
This was the last exhibition presented in my glorious Woodstock studio gallery, and bizarrely but profoundly prophetical, was exhibited one month before Covid-19 hit the world and pushed everyone into isolation.
