Week 6 of 28: Moon over Bourbon Street - Sting (1986)

This Stalker/Vampire song by Sting was inspired after he read Anne Rice's "Interview with a Vampire" and brings the sadness and heartbreak of the book to a dark yet romantic musical conclusion. It also showcases Sting's brilliant ability as a storyteller and wordsmith with provocative lyrics like "I've the face of a sinner and the hands of a priest" and even more poignant "I must love what I destroy and destroy the thing I love".

Join me tomorrow morning on Instagram, Facebook and my website www.alexhamiltonart.com for the release of a new series of artworks from my LUNA TUNE exhibition.

Much Luna Love (and apologies!)
